March 10, 2015: Super Hero Moms and Sons night
We had 210 moms and sons at our "Super Hero" night! We had our night scheduled for March 5th but we were out of school due to snow. We had several boys and some moms who were dressed as super heroes! We had a "super" writing activity about "What was a hero". After the some of the boys told what a super hero was, I told the group we had a super hero in the room tonight. The super hero here to night is MOMS! We then had a "super hero" meal and some "super hero" websites. It was a great night.! |

Dr. Seuss Week- March, 2013
Great Week! The teachers at Carolyn Lewis Elementary went all out on their doors. Each classroom deocrated their door with any book characters they wanted. Some chose Dr. Seuss characters and some just had cool characters that their students wanted on the door. We had door prizes for 4 classrooms!
